I have retired from chairing the Master of Arts in Learning Technologies at Pepperdine University. Before I retired, I also engage in research through a number of different avenues one of them being SRI-International. Mostly my interests center on remaking schools for the 21st Century. I have a strong advocate for the type of schools that share the name High Tech High. But I think that remaking schools will be about changing the roles of those people who work in them. One way to do this is through learning circles. I also advocate for action research (see ccar.wikispaces.com) and global education (www.iearn.org).
